Our Story

I've been riding and racing all forms of off-road motorcycles since I was six years old, most of the time on YZ250’s. Productive Power is based in upstate New York (not far from Unadilla), which has a natural terrain that makes for the perfect testing and proving ground for off-road motorcycle development.

A good portion of my life has been spent working on complex mechanical projects by myself. During these hours spent alone, I often find myself using the time to connect spiritually with my Creator; so much so that I think of Him as my mechanical mentor. After working in this fashion to solve countless mechanical problems, I wanted to showcase our relationship through mechanics to the world, this time by making the perfect YZ250 engine for off-road riding.

At first, I went about the task the usual way, in my own strength, but was getting nowhere. So I walked away and earnestly prayed about it for several days, surrendering it to my Mentor. When I came back to the project, I was met with a clear vision of the new system working right before my eyes. I built what I saw and the result was amazing. This proved to me that no matter who you are, where you are, or what you're into, you just have to reach out faithfully and He will show up faithfully.
