I have spent a fair amount of time and money getting my 250X to be a better enduro/woods bike. I wish I’d had started here. Setup with woods setting, this bike can lug! The power delivery is so much smoother now and the bottom end is strong. That’s not to say the top end suffered at all. The bike still pulls hard up top. What a fantastic upgrade for the YZ250X. The kit was very well organized and labeled so you know exactly what’s what. It even comes with some upgraded hardware to replace the JIS screws in the power valve assembly. Every detail was considered. The other side of the purchase is the phenomenal customer service. Tim happily answered all of my questions and we ended up BS’ing on the phone a while. He’s a great dude and very knowledgeable about YZ’s, the YZ guru if you will.

I have the yz250 mx version and rode a friends yz250x and really liked the power band, so did some research and came found Hitlis and decided to give it a try. Installation was straight forward and customer support was very good! Of course the weather turned bad just as I got it installed. I have now put a couple hours on it and I love it! Power band even better than the X model. Found myself a gear higher in places than before. So smooth and puts power to the ground with minimal wheel spin. If for you're on the fence trying to decide, just do it. You won't regret it.

Got to ride for the first time since installing the hitlis. The power is amazing. If you run trails or desert you need to invest!

Huge shout out to Tim! Customer service and passion for a product like this is not available anywhere in the moto industry! Ran into a small issue while installing and time walked me through the install once I was out of the woods from chasing a stripped bolt! Learning curve when taking the PV components if it’s not coming loose throw a little heat on it. The center PV keeper Allen fought me tooth and nail. From just riding it up and down the street today the initial impression is all smiles. Taking it to the trails tomorrow! Thank you again for your help Tim you are a class act!
