"I must say, I was very impressed with the packaging. And your videos were extremely helpful with clearing up any questions I had.
-I was absolutely amazed at how smoothly the shaft rotates compared to the OE set up.
-It is unreal how much more smooth and efficient the power valve operates!
The violent hit was gone. Instead the power still came on strong but manageable and somehow continued to pull higher than OE before signing off.
-I was originally expecting the stiffer governor spring to “neuter” the iconic strong mid range of the YZ and just push the power valve to only operate at high rpm’s. The results were COMPLETELY not what I was expecting. The bottom and mid range were not neutered, they were actually enhanced.
-The power valve feels like it allows the engine to move the air more efficiently through a broader power band and impressively still pulls higher than OE.
-I was fully prepared for my bike to feel similar to a TPI bike. Smooth, almost electric power delivery with zero hit and leaving much to be desired down low. But instead I still have a bike with exciting mid range, but with smooth predictable power higher into the rev range.
I feel like this is how Yamaha should have engineered this engine to efficiently move air.

"So I regularly take part in time card events, total ride time is 4hours, you regularly race against the same individuals and I’ve commonly finished 2nd, 3rd or fourth, the special “test” you ride each lap and is a timed section, this would normally take about 6-8minutes ( you probably know all this) but anyway I started the first lap good and I found myself getting faster and faster, I thought about this on my way home, my thoughts throughout the race was just concentrating on form, weighting the pegs, body position and recording track details, I’ve not been able to do this on this bike before and I knew this is what I was missing, This is a result of Hitlis!
I no longer have to worry about the engine and what it’s doing, I know what it’s doing! It then becomes a subconscious Action.
The result was my first win in class, unbelievable! But it wasn’t a win it was a destruction, I belonged in another class! this one competitor who would always beat me, last time by only a second in the special test, this time I beat him by almost thirty seconds! This was within a 6 minute test, a serious improvement.
You mentioned going back to a higher compression head and this is the exact same thought I had on the way home, my other thought was how much better your clutch work becomes, it’s so much easier! Out of corners, going up hills and blipping to go over obstacles, Instead of getting 100% of the power you get 20,40,60,80,100%, it’s up to YOU! and it’s so easy to manage now!
I can’t wait to go out again this weekend, knowing I’ve got the bike that I’ve been piecing together and that I can now get the results with. It makes it all worth it, honestly! I was about to give up with it.
To say I’m thankful and impressed just wouldn’t be enough to do this product justice."

"Everything in the kit was well organized and in a plastic lure box. The machine work on the parts was first class. The installation was very straight forward.
After warming the bike up I did about 9 or 10 rips up and down my street. The abrupt hit is gone (hence the product name).
The bike is smoother and was definitely easier to ride in the single track. It just has a long, smooth pull. Not unlike a 4 stroke, but more lively. The bike also sounds different.
It's smoother but has just as much horse power as before. A big hit can make you think it has more power when it doesn’t. The abrupt hit will light up the back tire or pull the front wheel in the air. It also tires you out quicker.
The HITLIS puts more power to the ground. I was having so much fun that I ran it out of gas and was happy for the reserve.
Most of the aftermarket stuff you buy for a YZ makes it run the same or worse. This actually works."

"Firstly, amazing product! Great piece of engineering and much needed modification. I’ve watched the videos, they are great and fully detailed.
I’ve not long ago completed another yz 250 woods build, after owning 3 other yz 250s I built this one piecing the best bits I have done before into this bike but the power valve opening has been a hurdle that has yet to be fully solved, this has always caused grip issues whilst hill climbing and in muddy conditions.
I’ve had a smile from ear to ear ever since I let the clutch out today. It’s smooth, predictable and useable, gives a torquey feel throughout the build up and I love it! I find myself asking, is there any need for any of the other mods?
I can’t compliment Productive Power enough for this idea, service, and the communication is great."

"The HITLIS is definitely not slow. It’s more connected to the ground without the violent wheelspin, each gear seemed to pull longer.
On my test loop, there is one hill that you have a hard left out of a ravine, then a loose rocky uphill with two stairsteps at the top. Until the HITLIS, I could not get enough drive up the hill to hit the first stair step and clear the second one. I could on my 4T. Now I can clear it on my YZ. Ha, no need to discuss how a 20 yr old YZ is competitive with a very expensive '22 "modern 4T”!
I increased the preload this past weekend. No power loss, you have an even more linear powerband, just keep twisting the throttle for more power. It felt like “traction control” and it pulls strong between corners. Whoops, it’s great. Able to stay on the gas and in control. Top speed improved, and heart rate went down substantially."

Words can’t even describe how good this makes the bike work, Tim with HITLIS wasn’t joking when he said this should be the first mod you do to the bike.
I’ve messed around with these Yamahas for a long time, and I consider my bike to have been pretty dialed for my style of riding/ trails, hills etc, But when I added the HITLIS Woods kit and rode it last Sunday, you couldn’t wipe the smile off my face literally.
With this set up now the governor controls the power valve and you can tell right away how smooth and controllable the power is. Don’t get me wrong it’s not weak, it’s far from that! The power is smooth, predictable, with a nice linear not abrupt spike in powerband.
Hats off to the HITLIS team. This product kicks a**!"

"I received my kit. Nice package and instructions.
The HITLIS pulls 2nd gear out of tight corners without any clutch work. After that the power is just so smooth and strong, it transitions to “on the pipe” and stays straight and connected to the ground. No rear end dancing and going everywhere fighting for control. I can be on the pipe in area 3 of a corner now, before it was area 4 or completely out of the corner. I'm staying in control and already set up and in position for the next corner. My tracks between corners was only about 1’ wide, in the past it was 3’ wide after a short session on this bike. So I’m more in control, similar to what I experience on a 4T, which is why for the last 8 years a 250F with a big bore kit has been my primary enduro bike. So far I'm thinking this is going to change that."

I am on a 2012 YZ 250 with a high comp head from TSP, heavy flywheel, standard carby. I was looking at taming that explosive mid and get more linear power to reduce wheel spin. I Ride a mix of terrains, mainly single tracks some sand in summer but mainly rocky, slippery, hills with ruts in area like Nannup, Bridgetown, Kirup etc etc. Am no pro mechanic and I was a bit apprehensive at installing the system. I follow the very detail YouTube clip and Tim was also available via E-mail and texts with answering back to me within minutes…really incredible !! Installation was really smooth. Tim really helped me to set up the bike perfect to my needs as I tried wood and deserts setting I settled for the woods kit with retarding the ignition timing a hair, perfect ! Next will also do his carby mod that will be the cherry on the cake ! The power now feels is more but evenly spread, more crisp, more linear, the mid is no longer scary but keeps a smile on my face as I know when it hits and is very gradual and I can use it with the clutch now ! Traction is unreal, feels closer to a 300 power band than a 250

I’m a more seasoned rider 70 and have just been off for 6 months with a shoulder injury, yes another bike mishap. I usually ride at least one a week, doing doing singles and 4wd trails in Victoria, Australia.
I have a 2022 YZ250X and also a tm300i en, both great bikes. Usually ride 120 to 150 hours a year.
Now to my return ride last weekend, yes when I got on it it felt different, not too much on the transport sections, but that was probably due to me being cautious being my first ride back, then we quickly headed off into the singles and as my confidence returned it showed me a little of what the HITLIS can do.
* reduced vibration through the bars
* more lugging power which reduced the need to change down even on tight or steeper sections
* ability to ride the singles a gear higher, making it smoother and faster
* reduced wheel spin when accelerating
* significantly increased traction in areas that would previously be difficult due to loss of traction
* no reduction in power, just delivers it in a useable way
These are what I noticed on my first ride with HITLIS, can’t wait to see how I feel after half a dozen rides as my friend is on about his 6th ride with HITLIS and is more impressed after every ride, he also has a lot of experience and other bikes to compare it with (YZ300X, YZ450FX, YX125X) all current models.
It’s a Public holiday here next Friday so we are heading out Friday and Saturday this weekend.

First, Tim is outstanding. I would give 6 stars if I could. He talked me through some questions late at night while I was installing it in my garage. He was patient and extremely helpful, and made sure everything was perfect. After some light testing to get used to it, I did 40 miles of desert single track, about half of it on the race course USRA uses for the Nutty Putty Enduro each year. The trail was rocky and nasty, with lots of steep ups and downs, and I had just ridden the same ride on the stock 250x a week before.
Hitlis was incredible. Power whenever I needed it. It had the sensitivity and control I used to have on my Beta in the slow grunty sections, but with the ability to fly and pull like a YZ when I twisted the throttle. There were multiple sections that I had never hit cleanly before (on my Beta or the stock 250x) that I was now able to do without putting a foot down. I know they say you can't buy talent, but I feel like I did. Truly incredible.
After I started trusting it more, I found myself riding in 3rd gear and using the clutch instead of just trying to "rev & pray" through the tech in 2nd, which used to be the only option. My YZ250x is really a do-it-all weapon now.
I was most amazed at how smooth it makes the bike. I was less tired after 40 miles than my last ride of 20 on the stock 250x PV setup. These bikes should come stock from the factory with this.

Great Product- works as advertised for taming the hit of my 2014 YZ250. Very analogous to a flywheel effect- in that it just knocks the 2 stroke hit/spool up down to manageable ( adjustable) levels yet doesnt reduce overall torque or horsepower. Coming off a series of the Orange bikes- 350/450's- it works very much like a modern map adjustment. But its "set it and forget it". Highly recommended and allows MUCH better throttle control on modern tracks with 4 stroke style- sweeping outside- lines.

The hitlis is like unlocking a new mode on your yz250. When you first install it and cruise it around, you feel like you can feel something right away. But it’s not until you get it on the track or trail that you really notice the wow factor!! This thing creates a new bike! And the next couple times you ride it after that, the more you notice the difference. This has now made my yz250 my new favorite bike, it is so much more fun to ride! This will be the FIRST thing I put on my next yz250.

HITLIS transformed my YZ250x. The power is so manageable, but none was given up with the HITLIS kit. Purchased the woods kit and couldn't be happier. Tim has been incredible with supporting me during install and recommending really good jetting specs to accompany the new PV system.

I have a completely stock 2020 yz250x and this was the first performance mod I did to it. The change is night and day. I won’t bother explaining it, as everyone else already does a good job of that!
Tim was/is a huge help in make sure everything went smoothly on the install as well as helped with any random yz questions I had (I have a lot, as this was my first 2 stroke ever).He also gave me some great advice for tuning the carb even further to get the most out of the new Hitlis system. Needless to say, the product is a 10/10 and Tim’s excellent help and customer service made it an 11/10. Quality all around experience and product. You truly get what you pay for in this.

I came from riding big four-stroke bikes like the DR650. When I first got my YZ250X, it was harder to ride than I expected. I thought I just needed more practice, but then I kept hearing about this HITLIS mod. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to try it.
The install was easy. Tim, the guy who made it, even helped me over the phone while I was putting it on. I now have about five hours riding with the HITLIS, and my bike feels completely different. It’s exactly how I thought the YZ250X would feel when I bought it—smooth, fast, and fun. The power is easier to control, and I don’t get as tired as before.
I did wonder if I should have just learned to ride the stock bike, but after trying this, I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Now I can focus on becoming a better rider instead of fighting the bike. Next, I’ll be working on the jetting with Tim’s help, and I plan to add a YZ250 head and GYTR flywheel weight. After that, I don’t think I’ll change anything else. I’m just excited to enjoy this bike for years to come.

This product is honestly a game changer if you want to ride the YZ platform for challenging, technical riding.
I'm on a 24 YZ250x with a 24 YZ250 cylinder and ignition with a bunch of bolt on goodies.
In every situation I am now riding a gear higher and am considerably quicker in the hard stuff since installing HITLIS.
Bike pulls so hard straight off the bottom but always controllable. I spent a fair bit of time in 1st gear before but now in 2nd and sometimes 2 gears higher.
Deadset the best mod you could do for your YZ.

Creo que hitlis debería venir instalado de fábrica, mejora significativamente el comportamiento de la motocicleta. Luego de la instalación, mi yz250x se siente con mayor poder, más torque y mucho más ágil y amigable de pilotear. Se puede conducir de forma más agresiva y fluida que antes, teniendo un margen de error mucho mayor. Desde el despacho hasta tener el producto en mis manos, transcurrió aproximadamente 1 mes. Cabe destacar que el servicio de venta y post venta es increíblemente bueno.

Don't sit on the fence anymore, just do it. I was worried it would turn my bike into a marshmallow but it still breathes fire when I wrap the throttle on. But when you want it to be tame and linear it just lugs like a champion. Best mod I've done. 06 yz250 Woods kit.

I love the HITLIS. This thin did exactly what I hoped for. I love my yz250x, it always seemed like I was riding a wild bull. All I ever did was aim and hold on especially going up technical hills. Now I can control where I go and what I do and I’m not tired ever anymore. Thanks for this product. It’s absolutely amazing.

I ride woods and motocross. I'm 50+ yrs old.
I put the woods kit in primarily for riding single track woods. Didn't consider it being a benefit for the motocross track. It now has more bottom and midrange power so I don't have to shift as much or rely on the clutch nearly as much in the corners. My bike has never pulled so strong and smoothly on low end coming out of the corners. Makes the bike much more forgiving with mistakes when you don't hit all your marks. Best mod I've done to my bike.

Awesome product! Easy to install. Super easy installation instructions. Highly recommend anyone with a yz250 who rides trails to get it. Game changer
